The British baritone Adrian Fisher studied Drama at University and later at drama school in London. After several years as an actor, he returned to the Royal College of Music to study singing.
He worked as a singer in the United Kingdom (Kent Opera, Wexford Opera, Dublin Grand Opera) and sang with Glyndebourne in the 1990/1991 season.
Adrian moved to Belgium in 1992 and spent 12 years singing with the Vlaamse Opera, Antwerp.
Since 2003 he has concentrated on a career as a soloist, touring extensively in the Benelux, and performing at major opera houses throughout Europe, including Antwerp, Cologne, Dusseldorf, Luxemburg, Amsterdam and the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam as well as summer opera festivals.
He appeared last year in new productions of ‘Candide’ and ‘Don Carlos’ at the Vlaamse Opera and toured in Norway and Poland.
